Dear Parents:

            I have listed the supplies your child will need to begin fifth grade so that you can take advantage of pre-school sales.  They are as follows:

1 - 1 ½” 3-ring binder (PLEASE NO Trapper Keepers - there is no room in the desks)

2 - packages, wide-rule loose-leaf notebook paper

Washable markers

Crayons

Colored pencils

Scissors

12” ruler (metric and standard measurements)

2 glue sticks

1 bottle regular glue

3-hole Pencil pouch (to be kept in binder) - NOT box

2 Ziploc bags - Gallon size

1 pink eraser

1 box #2 pencils - sharpened (NO mechanical pencils)

4 spiral-bound notebooks

5 folders - 2-pocket, 3 hole punches

2 pens - blue or black (NO gel pens or assorted colors)

1 red pen (for editing)

1 highlighter

1 box of tissue

1 package dry erase markers

Also: $3.50 - for classroom planner/agenda

2 poster boards

  Permanently mark all items before bringing them to school. Sharing supplies will be discouraged so please make every effort to provide your child with these supplies and to replenish them when needed. In the Fall I will have a classroom wish list which will include supplies for science and social studies. For example, these may include a classroom subscription to the Spokesman Review (current events) and paper towels/paper plates (Scientist of the Week).
